hatang.dev started inside Sota Labs, the products unit of SotaTek. Every product we shipped for Vietnamese users needed the same things: email that lands, a support inbox that speaks Zalo, payments that issue a hóa đơn điện tử. We built them once, properly, and opened them up.

Origin
A decade of building software for the world. Now infrastructure for Vietnam.
SotaTek, short for State of the Art Technology, was founded in Hà Nội by seven founders on 11 August 2015 and grew into one of Vietnam's largest engineering companies. Sota Labs is where it builds its own products; hatang.dev is the platform under all of them.
